Luis Vargas is a Los Angeles based film and media composer. His recent scoring credits include the short films The Eye of the Beholder, Faltered, and Sand-prints. He also premiered his string quintet piece Unspoken Words at The Night Temple in Los Angeles.

Drawing from a neoclassical and hybrid/orchestral palette, approaching each project with a strong focus on narrative and emotional clarity. Whether intimate and restrained or expansive and epic, always aiming to deepen emotion, shape atmosphere, and support the storytelling with intention and nuance.

Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Scoring from Berklee College of Music. He has furthered his training through the BMI/TV Scoring Workshop at New York University, the Screen Music Program in Pavia, Italy, and Screen Music Program in Los Angeles.
